The Miami Red Sox announced yesterday, June 9, 2014, that the team has officially entered the upcoming 2014 Florida Cup, which is will be held in Miami over the Labor Day Weekend at the end of August. The Red Sox have a long history of tournament ball, having traveled and competed all over the State of Florida over the past two decades. The team has one championship (2004 Miami Open) and numerous runner-up trophies from Disney Classic to the Fall Classic and other MSBL and Florida Hardball tournaments over the years. The Sox are on a mission to win it all so look for a feisty team to take the field in this year’s Florida Cup!
