John Emmons – Miami Diamondbacks, pitched seven innings, giving up no earned runs against the Miami Red Sox to pick up the win, then came back in the ninth to pick up the “unofficial save”! What a a classic application of the pitcher re-entry rule! Then again, John Emmons does not need any help. The man has won more baseball games than just about anybody in the East Coast of the USA. That’s no lie. John Emmons is also one of the Ancients!!
