Yes, it’s May and we are just now finishing up with 2018 Fall Season. But with the second week of playoffs just completed, we can now report that three teams have already made it to the Finals. In the Open Division, the South Florida Cubs clinched a spot in the Finals with a 7-1 Semifinals win over the Boca Red Sox. In the Senior Division, the Palm Beach Angels punched their ticket to the Finals with a late 12-10 Semifinals win over the pesky Valma Senators. Finally, the Dade Nationals earned a spot in the Masters Division Finals by finishing in first place during the regular season.
The third weekend of playoffs resumes June 2, after the 2019 ALL STAR GAME May 26, with the Weston Leones taking on the defending champions, Miami Brewers, in the Open Division Semifinals Game 2. The winner advances to the Open Division Finals against the South Florida Cubs. In the Senior Division, the Miami Mariners take on defending champions Kendall Metz in a Semifinals game 2. The winner will challenge the Palm Beach Angels in the Senior Division Finals. Finally, the Southern Yankees play host to the Hollywood Astros in a Masters Division Semifinals matchup, with the winner advancing to play the Dade Nationals in the Finals.
