The Fall 2023 Season produced three new division champions for the first time in years.
In the 18+Division, Miami JC Baseball Club won another title with a 9-0 win over the no show JEG Reds team, taking the title away from the first-time champs Margate Marlins from the prior season. In the 28+Division, the Miami Amigos also could not repeat as they fell to the Broward Senators 2-0, in a very tough championship contest. The Senators have now won five titles over the years. In the 35+ Division, the Broward Marlins emerged as the best team around winning their first title with a solid 15-12 win over the luckless Southern Yankees, who continue to be the eternal bridesmaids after losing another heartbreaker championship. The Dade Nationals had won eight straight titles before the Marlins took care of business.
Each team won the $1,000 cash prize along with championship trophies, t-shirts and authentic SFBL logo baseball caps.
