The South Florida Baseball League hosted the 2015 All Star Game on July 5, 2015 at the beautiful Flamingo Park on Miami Beach. Led by manager Dave Carnevale from the Davie Tigers, the American League Team beat the George Kenhan’s National League Team 11-7 in a come-from-behind effort. Last year’s All Star MVP Jay Warman, South Florida Sting Rays, recorded the biggest blast of the day with a 7th inning game-tying bomb to left field but teammate, Nestor Estevez, from the Broward Indians won this year’s All Star MVP with a performance that included going 2-3, with a double, triple, 3 RBI and clutch defense. Bobby Vega, Miami Brewers, and Alex Catala, South Florida Dodgers, each went 3-3 to lead the National Team in offense.
