OPEN DIVISION SEMIFINALS
The Miami Brewers are no strangers to the playoffs having won a couple of titles in recent seasons. Well, they are back in the Open Division Semifinals by beating a talented South Florida Sting Rays 7-4 to take on the second seed Broward White Sox on June 4. The South Florida Beach Bums also made the final four and seek their second title. The Beach Bums, who took out the Miami Pirates in a hotly contested 5-2 win, now take on the top seed Weston Sharks in the second Open Division Semifinals game.
The South Florida Beach Bums – Weston Sharks semifinals game is scheduled for Sunday June 4 at 9:15 am at beautiful Flamingo Park on Miami Beach.
The Miami Brewers – Broward White Sox semifinals game is set for Sunday June 4 at 9:15 am at McArthur High in Hollywood.
The semifinals winners will play in the Open Division Championship on Sunday June 11.
In addition to carving out a permanent spot in the record book, the Champions win a beautiful championship trophy, an MVP trophy, and a $1000 cash bonus, championship t-shirts and authentic SFBL logo baseball caps for the players.
