Two-time defending champions, the Miami Brewers, knocked off the surging Miami Orioles 16-9 and Miami Red Sox upset the top seed Miami Pirates 6-3 in the Dade Open Division Semifinals this past Sunday April 24. The Sox and the Brewers advance to the Dade Open Championship this coming Sunday May 1, 2016 at 9am at Flamingo Park Miami Beach.
In the Broward Open Division Semifinals, the South Florida Beach Bums surprised the top seeded Weston Sharks 12-3, while the South Florida Sting Rays punished the Davie Tigers by an identical score 12-3. The Beach Bums square off with the Sting Rays this coming Sunday May 1 at 930am at Sunset Park in Plantation. Let the Big Dog Eat!
