The Fall 2024 Season produced three spectacular winning teams.
In the 18+Division, Miami JC Baseball Club made it a THREE-PEAT with an 11-4 win over the Margate Marlins in a rematch of last season’s finals. Miami JC also won a close first game thriller of the best-of-three series by a score of 4-2. This is the fourth overall title for Miami JC.
In the 28+Division, the Broward Senators are proving to be one the best teams ever in the SFBL, winning their third title in a row, with a 9-4 win over the Aventura Braves. The Senators have now won NINE titles over the years. The Aventura Braves have twice been past league champions and runner-up twice in the past four seasons.
In the 35+ Division, the Miami Yankees beat the Southern Yankees in a tough gut check game 5-2 for the 35+ Division championship – Miami Yankees – REPEAT Champions! That game was 3-0 Yanks in the eighth. The luckless Southern Yankees continue to be the eternal bridesmaids, having finished runners-up six times. Wait ’til next year!
Each team won the $1,000 cash prize along with championship trophy, MVP trophy, champions t-shirts and authentic SFBL logo baseball caps for all the players, along with the eternal glory of winning an SFBL championship!
