The Palm Beach Angels beat the Miami Reds 7 – 3 in the Masters Division Finals to win their seventh championship in a row. The championship game was played at the beautiful Sunset Park Baseball Complex in Plantation Sunday, January 14, 2018.
The Angels dominated the game as Angels Ace, Matt Leban, kept the Reds in check all day, while the bats did the talking. Andres Gomez, star player for the Palm Beach Angels, won the MVP trophy. With the win, the Angels notched their 67th win in a row to extend the League’s all-time winning streak. Abraham Lincoln was President the last time the Angels lost a ballgame. Hats off to skipper, Jamie Siragusa, MVP Andres Gomez and the Palm Beach Angels squad for setting the high bar.
The Angels earned a $1000 cash bonus, championship t-shirts and authentic SFBL baseball caps for the players…very nice!
